By bus
A bus service from Salisbury city centre to the Hospital is provided
by Wilts & Dorset Bus Company. Bus numbers 43, 44 and 58 depart
at regular intervals from Blue Boar Row, just outside the Debenhams
store. For more information please contact the Company by telephone
on 01722 336855. Buses stop outside the main hospital entrance for
all outpatients clinics held in Salisbury District Hospital north,
level 3, They also stop outside the Hospital Leisure Centre for those
outpatients clinics held in the Salisbury District Hospital central
and south.
By rail
The nearest railway station is Salisbury. A taxi rank is located
in front of the station building, and the journey to the Hospital takes
about ten minutes. Buses run every 10 minutes from nearby Fisherton
Street into the city centre, where connecting services to the hospital,
as described above, are available.
By car
Salisbury District Hospital is situated near Odstock village, just
two miles from the centre of Salisbury. The Hospital, previously known
as Odstock Hospital, is clearly signposted from the junction of the
A338 Ringwood Road and the A354 Blandford Road. There are two entrances
to the Hospital marked entrance A and B. Please choose the most convenient
