Treatment, Care and Rehabilition of Persons with Spinal Cord Injury
The Centre is situated at the Salisbury District Hospital site near Odstock and benefits from close links with the general departments there.
It comprises a purpose built, 54 bed unit which specialises in caring for people who have spinal cord injury and serves patients in the South & South West of England.
The Southern Spinal Injuries Trust (SSIT) are building an accessible garden at the centre for patients to enjoy during their rehabilitation.
Team Salisbury have won the annual inter-spinal unit games for the second year running.
Spinal patients at the Centre will have a unique opportunity to capture their sporting achievements on camera as part of the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
